Destination South Coast Jamaica
The South Coast is where the dessert meets the sea. Join us on one of our golden sandy beaches for freshly caught fish, roasted and served to you on a leaf from the Jamaican “Sea Grape” tree; suffused with spices and seasonings locally grown. Without doubt a mouth-watering experience. Set sail on the Caribbean Ocean and interact with dolphins in the wild or stand ashore and watch as they pass by. Have lunch at the unique bar and restaurant out at sea, The Pelican Bar, or take the Safari up the Black River and feed a Crocodiles or two. Be amazed by Black River's history and see our colonial buildings and Georgian architecture of its time. Have a rum punch at the Appleton Estate or enjoy the breathtaking views of Lovers Leap 1,700 Ft above sea level. Be infused with aromatic oils or enjoy the mythical healing powers of the Milk River Hotel and Spa.
The South Coast is definitely a heaven for naturalness and beauty. It isn't a built up resort area, or the usual "tourist run", but a place of total relaxation. You won’t find Jet Skies or night clubs, but you’re sure to find the warmest and friendliest people in Jamaica, an array of untouched golden and dark sandy beaches, and hundreds of acres of farms and unpopulated land; a place of all cultures and race where we welcome and embrace our visitor's as our own. “Out of Many, One People” we welcome you.

About Us
Destination South Coast Jamaica is an online social campaign intended to promote Jamaica’s untouched south coast as a destination. The campaign was started in 2014 by 2 young photographers, one from Mandeville in Manchester, and the other from Treasure Beach in ST. Elizabeth.
These two young photographers share their passion by sharing original photos and videos they hope will encourage new visitors to the south coast. By increasing tourism we believe that the local economy can see an improvement which will then allow more jobs and opportunities for young people in our area.
Our content will always be free but our travels and expenses are not. We haven't received any funding to date. Our expenses are solely on us. We ask for your assistance to help us continue to share Jamaica’s untouched south coast with the world.
